I watched 'Wild Hogs' because there were Tim Allen and John Travolta in it, they aren't half-bad but unfortunately the rest of the cast (especially Martin Lawrence, William H. Macy and Ray Liotta) are pretty obnoxious
The story is weak and apart from a few funny parts, the only good scene is the fight near the end , the rest of it (especially the swimming scene where they all strip naked ) isn't so funny and rather stupid
John Travolta made some pretty bad mistakes in the 2000s ('Battlefield Earth' for example), at least here, he didn't play an alien that doesn't even look one and just looks like a smelly, ugly creep
To conclude, 'Wild Hogs' is just another worthless comedy and really not worth watching
Boring story coupled with unbelievable acting

'Toy Story 3' is the best of the series
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 17 November 2013 10:40 (A review of Toy Story 3)'Toy Story 3' is not only the best Toy Story movie, it's also the most successful animated movie worldwide and Pixar's best movie
Although the story is not as good as 'Toy Story', it's better than the story for 'Toy Story 2', the voice cast is very good (Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Ned Beatty, Don Rickles, Michael Keaton, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger)
The poster makes it look very good and exciting due to the introduction of many new characters
To conclude, 'Toy Story 3' is a brilliant movie, the best of the series and a must-see

OMG! What did I watch?
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 16 November 2013 02:00 (A review of The Legend of the Titanic)Anyone know of 'Titanic: The Legend Goes On' which had rip-offs of Disney movies and ridiculous moments? I just watched that a few minutes ago!
Well a year earlier, they made one before where an octopus throws icebergs at Titanic and then holds it together so that everyone can survive? The talking animals was invented by them and what a ludicrous idea!
It is a bit better than the other one but still really dreadful! Just avoid it

Ooh! Aah! Make it stop!
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 16 November 2013 01:51 (A review of Titanic: The Animated Movie)A movie about members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage...No! Wait! That's James Cameron's version! Sorry, I'm talking nonsense! Let me tell you the actual story about this one:
Members of different social classes fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage
Yep! As you may have guessed, 'Titanic: The Legend Goes On' is a rip-off of James Cameron's 'Titanic' and is it some sort of sequel to 'The Legend of the Titanic' a really dreadful movie? The characters are drawn like James Cameron's version but the love is less believable as the protagonists hardly share any screen time (some kind of spoof of 'Sleepless In Seattle')
So this is the infamous animated version that everyone completely destroys, quite right too
Infact this really dreadful movie rips off so many movies (including a few Disney movies, just imagine the thoughts of Walt Disney...)
Cinderella โ Evil stepmother and sisters
101 Dalmatians โ Cruella De Vill and henchmen, the white spotty black dogs
The Smurfs โ Azarael spoof crossed with Garfield
The Legend of the Titanic - Talking animals
The Little Mermaid โ Slapstick Chef
Lady and the Tramp โ The dog on the lead looks like Lady, the sausage sharing
Wow! Can you believe that? It even rips off 'The Legend of the Titanic' and is worse! What a surprise! 'The Legend of the Titanic' is really dreadful but this is worse!
What is family friendly about hundreds of deaths on a sinking ship? Nothing! What a crappy idea to make two animated family movies based on the sinking of the most famous ship ever
And let's not forget[Link removed - login to see] of obnoxious or ridiculous moments:
Sinking ship + fireworks - They celebrate bonfire night when a ship starts sinking? Wow! Rather interesting! NOT!
Dropping china so Anjelica can sweep it up - Waste of[Link removed - login to see] if you ask me!
[Link removed - login to see] dog - Singing dressed up dogs? What in the name of holy hell is this?
One of the henchmen sounds like Tom Hanks and the Dalmatians sound like George Clooney - why impersonate two huge stars in some crap like this?
A happy women + sinking ship - Happy when you're about to drown?
A blonde man (looking lifeless) impersonating William impersonating Leonardo DiCaprio on a wall panel - No! Stop ripping off James Cameron's version, he's sure to sue you!!!
Sailor forbidding the real William on! - What a selfish ass!
Standing up in a lifeboat - There's even more chance of capsizing!
Why is this here? There's nothing good about this movie! Can we destroy it? I hope the answer is yes!
And the ending of a way beyond obnoxious boy telling you what happens afterwards and then saying "I'll see you soon!", does that mean a third animated movie? Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the worst animated movie of all time
To conclude, 'Titanic: The Legend Goes On' is very close to being the worst movie ever! 'Disaster Movie' is not much worse! For the love of God! Don't watch this (unless you want to see how bad it really is, which it definitely is)

Time for Godzilla to crush the franchise
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 16 November 2013 08:39 (A review of Godzilla)'Godzilla' is one of the worst remakes of all time, I haven't even seen the original one but this version is probably a lot worse
'Godzilla' is another 'make it stop' movie, much like 'The Great Gatsby', it's a really terrible movie which goes on and on for more than 2 hours
Matthew Broderick should be ashamed, he was a bad choice for the lead role and pretty much, the entire cast is pretty bad ('The Simpsons' should be thinking 'what the hell are our principal voice actors Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer doing in some crap like this?')
Godzilla doesn't really have much of a role, all he really does (until the end) is stomp past wrecking the roads with his huge feet, then he chases everyone through elevators and gumball machines and eventually tries to eat them, of course, the bridge traps him and he dies after being shot
Why couldn't 'Godzilla' be a decent remake like 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (which was actually better than 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory')
'Godzilla' is actually another critically panned movie that got mixed reviews from the audience (such as 'Freddy Got Fingered' or 'The Lone Ranger')
'Godzilla' is almost all the time weak in scares (like 'The Woman In Black'), it gets scary at the end and the ending is a decent cliffhanger with lots of baby Godzilla
Let's just hope that 'King Kong' is good (I haven't seen the original either) but if I ever get the 100 years of Universal collection (which includes both versions), I will watch the 1933 one first (which is 80 years old this year)
Next year the original 'Godzilla' is 60 years old and perhaps that will give the remake involvement, highly doubted, 'Rollerball' will be 40 years old in 2 years and there's big surprise if the remake has involvement
To conclude 'Godzilla' is another bad remake and a big waste of time, time for Godzilla to crush the franchise with his giant foot

A nice surprise
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 16 November 2013 08:01 (A review of Phineas and Ferb)Since I hear good things about 'Phineas and Ferb', eventually I decided to check it out, I've only seen the first episode and perhaps watching a few more would reduce the rating slightly, Ferb and Perry are quite hilarious and Isabella is like a parody of Wendy (from 'South Park')
The episode was quite clever and funny and I'm sure there will be more episodes that I enjoy

An amazing, classic masterpiece
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 13 November 2013 07:26 (A review of Titanic)'Titanic' is a rare brilliant classic which was directed and written by James Cameron, this very good director also wrote and directed a great movie known as 'Avatar' which is currently the highest grossing movie worldwide
'Titanic' is only the second highest grossing movie worldwide and deserves all the billions it made, the real ship has been underwater for over 100 years and how come this is one of the only good movie versions of it?
Since 'Titanic' was well received and grossed over $2 billion at the box office worldwide, I just had to watch it, it also has actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet who give some pretty good performances, the rest of the cast are also really good (Gloria Stuart, Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Frances Fisher, Bill Paxton, Bernard Hill) and the story telling of 'Titanic' is just very clever
But what a very smart beginning; a bunch of treasure searchers find the Titanic searching for a for a necklace with a rare diamond known as the Heart of the Ocean. But in a safe, all they find is a drawing of a young woman wearing the necklace and nothing else. The drawing is dated April 14, 1912, the day Titanic hit the iceberg and sunk. An old woman, Rose Dawson Calvert claims to be the person in the drawing, she then visits Lovett and tells a story of her experiences aboard Titanic and how she fell in love with Jack Dawson, a poor artist who wins tickets aboard the ship in a game of poker
But what a very sad ending, Titanic sinks and shortly afterwards, Jack dies of hypothermia and Rose blows a whistle to grab the attention of a boat searching for survivors
Even though the ending is very sad, when Titanic starts sinking, the movie becomes really amazing and for only the second time in history, they actually show the ship breaking in half and just how they show all the sets flooding is quite incredible
'Titanic' is a masterpiece that made Leonardo DiCaprio more famous (he became famous for his best performance 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape') and Kate Winslet a big star as well (who was never famous before)
The first two 'Terminator' movies ('The Terminator' and 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day') were written and directed by James Cameron and were praised by everyone, I have never seen either of them but I have high expectations and I really hope to enjoy them
To conclude, 'Titanic' is definitely one of my favorite movies, a huge move for James Cameron, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet and a must see for any movie lover (since everyone went to see it, you can only assume that over a billion people enjoyed it)

Tom Hanks gives another showcase performance
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 12 November 2013 06:38 (A review of Forrest Gump)'Forrest Gump' is a very good movie thanks to an interesting story, performance by Tom Hanks and its laughter
Tom Hanks portrays the title character Forrest Gump, he gives a showcase performance as an annoying but hilarious character, one of my favorite Tom Hanks performances
It doesn't deserve to be mentioned alongside 'The Shawshank Redemption' but it is better than 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', the story is very interesting and the whole cast give some very solid performances (Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, Sally Field)
'Forrest Gump' is a very satisfying movie and will entertain anyone (a significant number of audience are calling it one of the best movies ever), it is not my favorite movie but it'll definitely do
I have never read the novel ('Forrest Gump' is based on a novel) but it's probably not as good as the movie, if the novel got a sequel then why didn't the movie?
Tom Hanks has just done 'Captain Phillips' and 'Saving Mr Banks', 'Captain Phillips' was a great movie and I hope 'Saving Mr Banks' will also be a very good movie (even if it doesn't end happy)
It is not my favorite Tom Hanks performance but it is definitely one of them, an annoying but hilarious character is portrayed by the best actor ever, I wish Tom Hanks still did a lot
Life is like a box of chocolates, as is 'Forrest Gump', it is still enjoyable even if you aren't eating chocolates when watching it
To conclude 'Forrest Gump' is a masterpiece, an entertaining, charming classic and definitely worth a look, it is not my favorite movie but it'll do for now

Why focus more on Tonto?
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 10 November 2013 12:13 (A review of The Lone Ranger)Due to critical and box office failure, my expectations of 'The Lone Ranger' were rather low, despite that, I was still disappointed by it
Yes, Johnny Depp is (probably) the most famous actor in the movie and that's why they made Tonto the central character
Satisfaction goes to a few action scenes, decent costumes and sets
Bad goes to the boring story and the over-the-top performance of Johnny Depp
Hiring Johnny Depp was a waste of money in my opinion, if there was no poster or credits, you wouldn't be able to recognize him
The rest of the cast weren't so bad (Armie Hammer, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Ruth Wilson, Helena Bonham Carter) but not so good either, Gore Verbinski's directing wasn't so bad but you can't deny the screenplay was pretty ridiculous
'The Lone Ranger' features train chases just like the train chase in 'Toy Story 3' (I am aware that both Woody and the Lone Ranger are cowboys but still very similar), a tedious cross between 'Toy Story 3' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean'
'The Lone Ranger' would've been better if Johnny Depp had given a better performance and if Justin Haythe and Ted Elliott had produced a better screenplay (which didn't rip off 'Toy Story 3' at all, even if they're both Disney movies, 'Toy Story 3' is a Pixar movie too and was biologically made by Pixar)
To conclude, 'The Lone Ranger' is a weak, tedious action, very average and not really worth a look even if you're a huge Johnny Depp fan (besides - like I said - he gives an over-the-top performance)

Did you hear that this movie is really terrible?
Posted : 11 years, 2 months ago on 9 November 2013 03:42 (A review of Did You Hear About the Morgans?)'Did You Hear About the Morgans' is a movie with Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker written and directed by Marc Lawrence, Sarah Jessica Parker hasn't made any acclaimed movies recently and this is not an exception
'Did You Hear About the Morgans' features Hugh Grant and Sarah Jessica Parker, neither of them (especially Sarah Jessica Parker) are believable in this, none of the cast are good at all
It has very few laughs but what a tedious, ludicrous plot! - a recently separated couple planning divorce before witnessing the murder of Meryl's client. They are forced to enter into temporary witness protection, given new identities, and relocated to a small Wyoming town.
'Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason' (also starring Hugh Grant) was panned by everyone and they just planned a third movie, let's just hope it'll be more successful than the previous one, perhaps the likeness of (most of) Richard Curtis's movies led Marc Lawrence to cast Hugh Grant which was a waste of money in my opinion
To conclude 'Did You Hear About the Morgans' is unfunny, completely boring and not worth watching at all
