Just epic

Posted : 10 years, 12 months ago on 2 January 2014 11:22 (A review of Batman)

Batman is one of the most famous superheroes ever, he is portrayed by Michael Keaton in a movie 'Batman' which is just epic

'Batman' has great acting (Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Kim Basinger, Robert Wuhl, Pat Hinge, Billy Dee Williams), epic action scenes and very good directing from Tim Burton

The Joker is a strong villain and one of the best movie villains ever while Batman is just a great superhero

Not bad at all

Posted : 11 years ago on 31 December 2013 11:45 (A review of Staying Alive)

'Staying Alive' is actually not bad at all, unfortunately it holds a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes

Yeah, Finola Hughes isn't very good in it and the story is rather weak but the dance scenes are really cool, John Travolta isn't that bad, nor is Cynthia Rhodes

It's not as good as 'Saturday Night Fever' but its best scene is at the end where Tony says "I want to strut!" and struts down the street while the Bee Gees sing 'Stayin' Alive', if only the song had been sung more (the movie is called 'Staying Alive' after all)

Contains a boring end

Posted : 11 years ago on 31 December 2013 09:31 (A review of Ivanhoe (1952))

'Ivanhole' is good for most of the movie but has a boring end, there is a pretty good cast (Robert Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Fontaine, George Sanders, Emlyn Williams, Robert Douglas, Finlay Currie, Felix Aylmer) and the sets are amazing but eventually I just got really bored, it is still a decent movie though, no doubt about that

BTW, Happy New Year!

The dumbest movie of the year

Posted : 11 years ago on 31 December 2013 05:01 (A review of Son of the Mask)

Just what the hell is this? Is this another crappy sequel to a great movie? 'Son of the Mask' is the dumbest movie of the year! There's absolutely nothing good about this flick

A sequel to the Jim Carrey movie 'The Mask', the sequel has barely anything to do with the mask! There's more awfulness, crudeness and unfunny comedy than scenes of the mask! The entire cast is obnoxious and infact it's an entirely new cast! None of the original cast return!

This isn't like a sequel at all! It's got an entirely new cast, a new plot, barely anything to do with the mask and just about everything else is wrong with this awful movie!

0/10

Doesn't have a Scooby-Doo clue

Posted : 11 years ago on 31 December 2013 02:58 (A review of Scooby-Doo)

'Scooby-Doo' doesn't have a Scooby-Doo clue how to make a good movie! Despite good casting, Matthew Lillard is way too annoying while Freddie Prinze Jr, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Linda Cardellini give underracting, that is the performance to give in a movie as crap as this but you should still put some blooming emotion into it

The story is just really stupid; two years after the group split up, Shaggy and Scooby are invited to Spooky Island which is owned by Emile Mondavarious played by Rowan Atkinson

Honestly, Atkinson is killed by monsters that look like one of those creatures in 'Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon' then he's revealed to be a villain who wants to sacrifice Scooby but then it's revealed to be Scrappy in a costume who was abandonded by the group years ago, Atkinson has really been stuck in a hole for weeks

Scrappy-Doo is a crappy poo villain and shouldn't really be one

The movie is just too scary for kids, too stupid for teens and almost impossible to recommend for adults! It is also just as bad as its sequel!

Overtaken 'The Shawshank Redemption'

Posted : 11 years ago on 31 December 2013 07:28 (A review of Memento)

'Memento' has overtaken 'The Shawshank Redemption' as my all time favorite movie

'Memento' repeatedly goes back and forwards and has a story about a man Leonard who lost his memory after a head injury and he wants to avenge his wife which involves in tattooing his body in order to remember everything

There's a great cast (Guy Pearce, Carrie-Anne Moss, Joe Pantoliano, Mark Boone Junior) and a few funny sequences

Great acting, great story, a few funny sequences and great directing make 'Memento' a cult classic, it is just my all time favorite movie! And the ending just makes you wonder "How can it end there?"

A decent classic

Posted : 11 years ago on 29 December 2013 05:42 (A review of Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory)

I prefer Tim Burton's version of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' to Mel Stuart's version but some prefer this version. 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory' isn't as good as 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' but still a decent classic.

I felt this version had better music and I preferred Gene Wilder's Wonka to Johnny Depp but I thought Tim Burton's Wonka Factory set looked better than Mel Stuart, I heard that one third of Mel Stuart's set was edible (I don't know about Tim Burton's set), and also Tim Burton's version is more like the book, I didn't like how in Mel Stuart's version, they killed off Charlie's father without explanation.

Overall I refer Tim Burton's version but they are still both good

Hilarious and just epic

Posted : 11 years ago on 29 December 2013 05:22 (A review of The Incredibles)

Pixar haven't made a bad movie yet but their worst one is 'Brave' which isn't bad but has a really weak story, 'Monsters University' wasn't a great movie either which was their most recent, however back then, Pixar made masterpieces and this is not an exception

'The Incredibles' is hilarious and just epic, a rare action movie aimed at kids, teens and adults who will all love it, a family of superheroes who all have a power - except that Jack-Jack's transformation power is not revealed until the end

Mr Incredible has super strength, his wife Elastigirl is stretchy and has long arms, their daughter Violet can turn invisible and their son Dash has super speed

'The Incredibles' has an extra power that belongs to all the Parrs, it has the power to entertain all audiences, (possibly) the best action movie ever - to be aimed at kids, teens and adults!

Better than the original

Posted : 11 years ago on 29 December 2013 12:59 (A review of Despicable Me 2)

After 'Despicable Me', I wanted to watch this, I didn’t think 'Despicable Me 2' would be as good as the original, firstly, the story sounded a bit lame (a former villain wanting to save the world) then it turned out hilarious and was better than the original

The minions (the best part of it) are even more hilarious, epic new characters and fighting scenes make 'Despicable Me 2' a hilarious flick which should be longer and will be watched over and over

The minions are hilarious

Posted : 11 years ago on 29 December 2013 12:55 (A review of Despicable Me)

‘Despicable Me’ has a great plot, the plot is basically a super villain hearing about another super villain stealing a Pyramid and plans to steal the moon, ask me, Gru and Vector are basically just idiots who want to be villains and both brawl to commit the crime of the century

The minions are hilarious, probably also the best part of the movie, the movie is funny, clever and superb for kids

‘Despicable Me’ has all the laughs that anyone could need to have a good time
